Veterinary Technician Position
North Jersey Veterinary Hospital (NJVH) is looking for a full-time veterinary technician to join our team. We are a new start-up in North Haledon, NJ. We are excited to grow our team and are looking for dynamic, compassionate, and motivated people. If you are great at customer service, interested in increasing your skills, and want to be part of a fun, innovative team, North Jersey Veterinary Hospital is the place for you. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Our technicians are essential members of our team. They provide support to the veterinarian, team, and our patients. They complete our caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable team.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable – based on experience and skill set
Experience: Veterinary Technician: 1 to 2 years related experience. A combination of education and experience is preferred.
Education: High school or equivalent. Additional education beyond high school is a plus.
Technical Training: Two-year Veterinary Technician Program graduate preferred, not required.
Work Days Required:
Monday + Tuesday +Thursday= 7:30 am to 6 pm
Friday= 7:30 am to 4 pm
Sunday= 8 am to 2pm
Closed Wednesday and Saturday. No major holidays.

Our veterinary assistance job expectations:
Our assistants provide veterinarians and technicians with support to diagnose and treat efficiently. They complete our caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable team.
Job Type: Full-time

Experience: Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED. Additional education beyond high school is preferred, with 1 to 2 years of training or related experience.
